Labatt's Site Wants Potential Clients to Follow the Avocado

San Antonio-based Labatt Food Service, the tenth largest food service distributor in the U.S., has unveiled a new website that pitches the company via videos, infographics, and web animation.

Such as “From Field to Tabletop,” featuring the avocado in a starring role in a journey from being picked, stocked, ordered, and delivered with the aid of Labatt’s high-tech warehousing and routing systems.

The site was developed in partnership with Genuine Interactive, a digital agency out of Boston.

“Our goal is to tell our story in an engaging way where users are entertained and educated,” Labatt Online Director Matt Silva said in a May 12 news release.

Labatt employs nearly 1,400 people in nine locations throughout Texas and New Mexico. It touts itself as the leading privately held foodservice distributor for schools, military, healthcare, and independent operators in the nation’s South Central region.
